The following are basic samples of language you can use to add a bequest to your will. Note that it is important to obtain the full legal name of a nonprofit when working with your attorney to add a bequest in your will.

"All the rest, residue, and remainder of my estate I give, devise, and bequeath to Foundation for Sarcoidosis Research, Chicago, Illinois, a nonprofit corporation existing under the laws of the state of Illinois, to be used for its general charitable objectives and purposes."

OR

"I give, devise, and bequeath to Foundation for Sarcoidosis Research, Chicago, Illinois, a nonprofit corporation existing under the laws of the state of Illinois, ____% of my residuary estate to be used for its general objectives and purposes."

OR

"I give, devise, and bequeath to Foundation for Sarcoidosis Research, Chicago, Illinois, a nonprofit corporation existing under the laws of the state of Illinois, the sum of $__________, to be used for its general objectives and purposes."

And include the address below and Federal Tax ID # 36-4378232
